Deakin Information Security Club
We invite you to come along to a session to try it out. However, if you'd like to attend regularly we would greatly appreciate it if you sign up as a paid member through the Deakin University Student Association. All membership fees go directly back into the club to ensure we have the resources to conduct quality weekly sessions, as well as host bigger and better social/networking events.

We are a student-led group, affiliated with the Deakin University Student Association focused on the hands-on practical skills of ethical hacking and developing the skills needed to kick-start a career in Cyber Security.
Our club welcomes anyone at any skill level with a passionate desire to explore, discover, learn, and even compete in a range of topics including forensics, web applications, reverse engineering, exploitation, and more.

CySCA is a national 24 hour CTF-style hacking competition that pits 16 students from each university in Australia against each other. We'll compete on a range of challenges from network pentesting to digital forensics to reverse engineering binaries.
From previous experience it's a heap of fun and an incredible chance to boost your cybersec skills, gain some awesome practical experience and make valuable connections with great people in the industry.
